Recreational Director

The Village of Plain seeks an experienced, passionate and energetic individual to serve as our Recreation Director. This position will direct and coordinate the recreation program and activities for area youth (ages 4-13). This position requires an understanding of a variety of sports, arts and crafts as well as educational abilities/skills. The Rec Director is responsible for creating a safe and motivational climate for area children who participate in the Summer Recreational Program.

The recreational program operates for ten weeks during the summer months, typically starting the second Monday in June. Previous years had two hours in the morning for a younger age group and three hours in the afternoon for the older kids. There will be preparation and coordination before the season starts.
