Hours: Typically 1:00–6:00 PM, with on-call availability during assigned weeks

About the Role

Anaway Place is a boutique cabin retreat rooted in thoughtful design and exceptional guest care. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Associate Manager to oversee daily operations and guest needs when ownership is off-site.

 

This role is perfect for someone looking to become an integral part of a small, family-owned business, with the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the property—and to grow the scope of their own work over time. As Anaway Place evolves and expands, this position has the potential to increase in responsibility and hours for the right person.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, professional guest support and respond to guest needs or concerns

  • Serve as on-call contact for guest issues and emergencies during assigned weeks

  • Oversee daily store operations, including stocking, cleaning, and laundry

  • Inspect cabins during turnover to ensure cleanliness, quality, and readiness

  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance; coordinate outside help for larger issues

  • Maintain property and outdoor areas, including:

    • Shoveling and salting in winter

    • Mowing and weeding during growing seasons

    • Hot tub and sauna maintenance

    • Feed birds and care for on-site cat when owners are away

Schedule & Availability

  • Every other week to start

  • Every Saturday

  • Core working hours generally 1:00–6:00 PM

  • Must be available on-call 24/7 during assigned weeks for urgent guest needs

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 and able to legally sell liquor in Wisconsin 

  • Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable with light physical work and outdoor tasks in all seasons

  • Strong communication skills and a guest-focused mindset

  • Prior hospitality, property management, retail, or maintenance experience a plus
