Dan began playing guitar in his teens, influenced strongly by Neil Young and Bob Dylan. Now in retirement he plays cover songs in the genres of country, traditional, country rock, blues and folk, covering songs by the Beatles, Dylan, Neil Young, Tracy Chapman, Tom Petty, and others.
